| I was born and raised in Gujarat, India. I attended and did my premedical studies in Bahauudin College, located in Junagadh. I attended M.P. Shah Medical College to obtain my medical degree, which was completed in October 1976. I worked as a medical officer at Civic Hospital and ran an outpatient clinic for more than ten years. i immigrated to the United States in May, 1990. I passed the ECFMG and Flex Examination in 1992.
